I've realized I haven't shown much of my art lately. I need to get back on that. I draw very often nowadays. The one pictured above is one of my more detailed drawings. If you're curious I just use regular rollerball pens, needlepoint .05. A very very fine tip is what I like the most. Also, I've discovered that drawing relieves a lot of stress. And really I just get lost in the drawing.

Ugh. It is so disgustingly humid here in Michigan. I hate it....it makes me feel ill! The Vinyl Redux show went well. Nice turnout and records were sold...not mine...yet, that is. The Vinyl Redux Art Show is coming soon. Opening reception is June 4th and the show will run through July 15th. This is my first attempt at a Day of the Dead skull on a flat surface (this is a wood plaque). Last year I made a black DOTD mask...well, designed it. So this piece, Untitled at the moment, is ready to have the white spots filled in with color. (I may put black around the skull still.) I will probably work on it more later tonight or tomorrow.
