hi ya's. i couldn't find my #1 fave song of the 80's on YouTube (the right video), which was A-Ha's "Take On Me." i LOVE 80's new wave music LOTS!!! i was only a lil' LITTLE kid when it was out but when i was in high school i began to discover it...and began to love such bands like: Duran Duran, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Simple Minds, NEW ORDER, etc...Do you remember when they had that show that lasted for only a few episodes That 80's Show (made by the peeps who did That 70's Show)? i actually found it kinda interesting...cuz i love anything 80's pretty much.
AND...i love the films of that time, especially: the breakfast club, 16 candles, real genius, pretty in pink, etc...Movies like that, sadly, won't ever be made again. try all they want, those were CLASSIC! ooo, and don't get me started on 80's fantasy films! another blog post...i love the neverending story, legend, the dark crystal, LABYRINTH, etc...so so GREAT!!! here's a clip of an 80's song i TRULY love. please enjoy it!~

I was a teenager when all that was going on. I think I grew up in the coolest time ever. Pop culture-wise, anyhow.
Technology pretty much sucked ass then tho. I remember having cassette tapes and waiting for my fav songs to come on the radio. And you had to hurry and press BOTH PLAY *AND* RECORD for it to record. Oh, man... I heart me some mp3s!
