Joaquin Phoenix is one of my favorite actors. Love everything he's ever been in. So when I heard he was quitting acting back in October, I was pretty shocked because he's still so young-he's only in his early 30's. But mainly because I just didn't understand why. Then I began to hear weird things about him...and more so his LOOK. When he announced he was leaving acting to pursue a music career, he looked pretty crazy-sunglasses, long & messy hair as well as a beard. And each time I see him, he looks crazier & crazier. I am really worried about him...I mean I can't help but to think what happened to his brother.
So last night he was on David Letterman. And I really wondered why he even bothered to do it because I knew Letterman would be saying crap about his look & his music career in hip hop (WTH? Hip hop!??). So it was a complete train wreck in my opinion. Basically because Joaquin seemed so out of it & also because the audience was constantly laughing. It was breaking my heart watching it. :( I want the old Joaquin back because...well, just watch it & you'll see why.

I know. It sort of just pissed me off. Yeah really funny, but I just couldn't seem to find it that way. To me it just looked like some guy taking advantage of someone who is obviously in the middle of a mental breakdown.
@ IC Soup-Yes, I think DL was taking advantage of him. It was difficult to watch 'cause I felt so angry at DL. It's very obvious something is not right w/Joaquin, give him a break! He didn't need to keep insulting him.
@ Sam-He'll always be cute to me (well, he is my future husband!). I just think he definitely needs to work something out.
I soo put mine up first :p I don't know why it doesn't show a time on my page ..hmm oh well great minds think alike . I put it up mostly for u though.
On the other side why did he go on the show if he is done with acting. It is a comedy show what did he think was going to happen? idk in a way he was insulting david letterman what was he suppose to do with 2million viewers watching him . I think he just tried to make the best out of the situation. Im still not sure what he is doing if it is a act or research for a role.. I mean that is what i am hoping.
