i have lost my way
and i lost part of my heart
when i left......
and i left so much behind
and threw even more away
to forget you
to forget the memories
but
there's so many memories
not all can be thrown away
i didn't realize how much we shared
a decade of life
the good, the bad, the horrible
thought i knew you so well
thought you would never do this to me
thought we'd always be friends
thought you'd always be there
and when i go to look for you
i feel a hole in my heart
because you're not there
and i don't know what to do
but one day i will
i won't feel so lost
and
i will find my way
