about a week back i said my fave film of the year....and we ALL know what that is. BUT i forgot about this film (prob cuz i saw it many months back, before TDK)...and how wonderful it is. so it's getting some SPECIAL recognition since 2008 ends tonight! this is definitely my #2 film of the year. i loved this film for many reasons but the main two being 1) great, touching story & 2) the cinematography was probably the BEST i have ever seen...in my whole life! seriously. it was like watching a piece of art come to life. the colors & locations were so beautiful. it blew me away. and again, the story was very good & sweet.
also, it took several years to make this film and was shot in many countries (i think they said around 15!). so just knowing that, should make you Netflix or Blockbuster Total Access it (i rented it but definitely want to own it one day) cuz it's truly a work of art to me.
oh & it's directed by Tarsem...and the film is called THE FALL.
enjoy the trailer. when i watched it, just a few moments ago, it gave me chills like the 1st time i saw it.~
