i just finished a Joy Division documentary. it was really REALLY great. it was definitely more informative than Control (film) but still Control was very great as well. it's so terribly sad about Ian Curtis (singer/writer) cuz he was so wonderful & talented. but he truly was a tortured soul. i hope he knows how much he did for music. RIP Ian.
quick lil' weird story. a while back while i was walking to my car after work, i saw this boy who looked just like Ian...so eerie. i mean pretty freakin' exact...and he wouldn't look my way & i was definitely staring at him. same style & color hair, clothes, everything. hm....curious...
here's "Shadowplay"...and The Killers have their version of it as well (made for Control), which rocks, but this is the original by Joy Division wayyyy back in the day.

1 Curious people had this to say...:
Oh man. I can't tell you how many nights I spent listening to them.
So bittersweet that his wife had Love Will Tear Us Apart put in his gravestone. It's so fucked up that he was only 23. But, then again, how many people get to make such a huge impact by such a young age?
