A Card + ATC's from Beanie

I LOVE getting mail from Beanie! It always puts me in a good mood. ;) Above is the envelope I found in my mailbox today.

And when I opened it, I saw this lovely handmade greeting card.

And wow, I wanted to trade a lot of ATC's (artist trading cards) with Beanie this time around. I got NINE of 'em, though only 8 are pictured. (Another black & white one is under the black & white one.) I love them all!

But my 2 faves are these ones. The "card" is actually a playing card. SO COOL! Great idea. Thanks so much for the cards Beanie. I will be sending NINE back to you soon. Oh, by the way, please check out Beanie's very awesome Blog HERE.

Take care friends!~

Anyone want to trade ATC's?

ATC's are artist trading cards, btw. Sorry that the pics aren't that great...the flash actually made 'em worse. The last one on the right is PINK though it blends in with my ORANGE sheet, weird! So if you are an artist and would like to trade, just post a comment here. Or if you would just like one or two of my ATC's (as a friend/follower), that's cool too...would just ask you to send a few stamps for postage.

So from left to right there's "Classic," "Big," and "Pink."

And there's some below also...

First one (to the left) is "Laugh" and the other is "Something." All the cards are on bristol paper and are 2.5 x 3.5 inches-the standard for artist trading cards.

BTW: LESA, I have chosen your ATC's...but if you want any of these, just leave me a comment. It's not a problem. Thanks!

Take care!~

This artist has inspired me lately...

...her name is Laurie Maitland...
and she's an abstract expressionist from Britain.
The picture below (Resonance in Red),
I purchased (well, the print) for dirt cheap at a Michaels going-out-of-business-sale.
I love it lots but my FAVORITE piece that I've seen so far of hers is the one above...it's called Constellations II.

Her pieces have inspired me to paint more and put the glue gun on the back burner...
especially when making my ATC's (artist trading cards).
And YES, one day I will post pics of those...
once we get the part we need for this computer.
(Hoping this weekend!)
Enjoy her beautiful art work.
~Take care~
