One More Episode of Battlestar Galactica

Wow, I haven't had this good of a laugh in a long time.
Because I love love love Battlestar & Portlandia is such a great new show!

Love Dr. Steve Brule!

I am getting excited to do the GIVEAWAY (which you can start thinking of answers for now...just go back a couple posts)...so here's another post!

~XoX~

Another Mighty Boosh clip w/Rich Fulcher

I was trying to find a clip of Vince and this guy (he's in the window, his name on the show is Mr. Fossil) to show Frog Queen yesterday but I couldn't find any. So I found this clip of Howard and him today-which they are both hilarious in. Also, on a different season he plays Lester Corncrake (and isn't that name silly enough to make you want to see this crazy character!??). And after watching many episodes from both seasons, I've realized that he, Rich Fulcher, is my favorite actor/comedian on The Mighty Boosh. He's so ridiculous, I LOVE it. Please enjoy the clip...and if I find one of him as Lester, I'll post that too! Just a lil' FYI. Take care.~

I HEART The Mighty Boosh (For Frog Queen mostly)...another NOIR, his name is Vince ;)

Remember how...

...I saw Fischerspooner recently? And they were SO freakin' awesome live?!! Well, Mike just told me today that they're gonna be on the channel, LOGO, at midnight this Sunday. (LOGO is primarily a 'gay' channel with some really really good stuff on it, including Rupaul's Drag Race-which I always wanted to post about but never did, darn!) And it looks like Casey Spooner (singer and one half of electronica performance art band Fischerspooner) will be chatting about "the business of art and the business of entertainment."

Well, that's what I saw from watching a short clip that was a bulletin on MySpace today. I'm gonna assume he'll be talking about other stuff as well but I can't really tell from the, again, very short clip. AND they will be broadcasting their sweet video for "We Are Electric" then as well. So if you can, watch it, cuz they rule! This is what their bulletin says: FS are hosting NewNowNext on LOGO this coming Sunday the 14th with a rebroadcast of the video for "We Are Electric."

But since the video is so sweet (and yes CASEY was wearing THAT outfit at the show-amazing!)....I'd like to post it here anyways. ;} Enjoy!~

You're Breaking My Heart, Joaquin :(

Joaquin Phoenix is one of my favorite actors. Love everything he's ever been in. So when I heard he was quitting acting back in October, I was pretty shocked because he's still so young-he's only in his early 30's. But mainly because I just didn't understand why. Then I began to hear weird things about him...and more so his LOOK. When he announced he was leaving acting to pursue a music career, he looked pretty crazy-sunglasses, long & messy hair as well as a beard. And each time I see him, he looks crazier & crazier. I am really worried about him...I mean I can't help but to think what happened to his brother.

So last night he was on David Letterman. And I really wondered why he even bothered to do it because I knew Letterman would be saying crap about his look & his music career in hip hop (WTH? Hip hop!??). So it was a complete train wreck in my opinion. Basically because Joaquin seemed so out of it & also because the audience was constantly laughing. It was breaking my heart watching it. :( I want the old Joaquin back because...well, just watch it & you'll see why.

To think i was gonna leave the house without...

...taping The Office and Kath & Kim. woo, good thing i remembered! i would've been bummed. unfortunately, since i'm working Thursday nights (of all nights!), i can't watch two of my fave shows anymore...well, atleast not RIGHT when they're on. i like My Name is Earl too, but i MUST watch Kath & Kim and then after that it's time for The Office. ooo, and this is the 1st episode after the showdown between Dwight & Andy. wonder how things are gonna be in the office now? and i hope a new episode of Kath & Kim will be on because it was a rerun last week. best comedy show i've seen in a while. Molly Shannon & Selma Blair are hilarious. wasn't sure if i'd really like it but now i'm just as excited to watch that as The Office on Thursday.

other shows i watch so far this year include: Big Love, Flight of the Conchords, Battlestar Galactica, The Office, Kath & Kim, and please forgive me for giving in to those Housewives of Orange County from time to time. i totally am against those types of peeps but this show is kinda interesting sometimes. but one thing is for sure-their kids are spoiled brats and they totally get under my skin sometimes! "but it's not a BMW!"...wa wa waaaahhhh. ug, those kids need a reality check!

hm, i think that's all. miss jennylee, am i forgetting anything? i know you are down w/tv more than me these days! alright, gotta get my work face on in a few. here's hoping work will not be any crazier than Tuesday...when a dude got handcuffed only several feet away from me! o.k. ta ta curious ones.~

HBO Tonight!

hey peeps. 2 great shows start back up tonight. and they are BIG LOVE and also Flight of the Conchords. ooo, what's in store for 'em this season? can't wait. showtime is at 9 pm. be there or else...cuz some HBO shows still rule.~

Mystery Science Theater 3000

we got Mystery Science Theater 3000's 20th Anniversary pack a couple months ago, and we finally finished up watching the 4 films. and we saved the best for last. it was Werewolf, and OMG, it was freakin' hilarious! if you don't know anything about MST, well YOU are really missing out.

about the show-unfortunately, it ended about 10 years ago but it lives on w/the many DVD packs that have come out over the years. hm, how to explain this great show? well, it's bad b-movies from the 50's-90's. and it takes place in the future. and there's the host(s), mike or joel, and the two robots w/em, who are crow & tom servo. and basically, they make fun of these horrible films as they sit in front of the screen (you can see them in black there). and God, they are some horrible yet freakin' hilarious movies. my fave of all-time is probably Manos: The Hands of Fate. Torgo-you ARE the worst actor to have ever graced the screen! i die everytime you speak! ha ha...

so the new pack. it's the 20th Anniversary edition & has lots of extras not to mention 4 horribly hilarious films they handpicked for this DVD pack. we watched Werewolf last night, and OMG, i haven't laughed that much in a while. MST dvd's are so fun to watch w/other peeps, mike & i usually watch 'em w/atleast one other person. so we watched Werewolf w/our friend TJ yesterday & i couldn't stop laughing during certain parts. and it doesn't help when we rewind 'em or when we re-enact 'em ourselves. when we do that, i usually can't stop laughing my head off. i seriously can't catch my breath sometimes cuz it is out of control!!!:}

some parts yesterday were so funny because the actors were SO bad, the story was SO awful, & the music was SO out of place. (but this is normal with most all MST films!) not to mention, they had Joe Estevez (brother of Martin Sheen, uncle of Emilio) in the beginning ONLY, weird. and yeah, horrible acting from him too! (i think he was the only American in the film too, which is funny if you watch this film.) i hope more MST dvd's come out in the future. we have a good amount of 'em, but the show was on for a while so there's got to be more bad films we have yet to see. if you really want to laugh, rent some of these hilarious films.;}
if you don't, let me tell you, you'll regret it! ^_^

and here's the one & only Torgo from MANOS...
