How About A New Drawing?

Definitely been drawing much much more than painting lately.
Here's a detail of one of my most recent drawings.
Strange, I seem to always draw that bird/raven/dark creature that is connected to the female figure.
It didn't even start out as the raven creature...hm, interesting how that happens.

Been posting more of my in process drawings & paintings on Instagram too...
compared to Facebook I mean.

Art Progress 2011

Here's some of my art works for 2011.
This isn't everything (ex. wood plaques & altered dolls).
I really like making faces lately...
and still like doing my drip paintings too.

Honestly, it's been a slow year for shows...
but things are gonna pick up soon.
And I've actually enjoyed the mini-break.
It has given me time to think about my art process.

Hi. This is some of my art progress so far this year.

I also want to do a NOIR series.
Because I found these awesome black canvases at Michaels.
Not sure what I want to do yet...
but I know I want it very simple.
so the black is pretty dominant.

So here's some more things I've been messing around with.

Well, I tried making another heart similar to my piece that was up for auction.
It's sorta similar, definitely not as good as the first one. But I'm still happy with it.

Last but never least, an altered Barbie doll.
Materials: gauze, pin, craft cord, paint, faux flowers.
