...to win something. Money would be awesome but I'd like anything. I'm only saying this because I entered a giveaway and would love the prize. I've won two things in my life, I think. One was an autographed poster of a band (gave it away like a fool!)...the other was a nice jewelry set (handmade). Other than that, not much else. How about you all? What have you won? Was it nice/cool stuff? Just curious...

I've been on Blogger for about...
...9 months now. Well, almost 9 months at the start of September. And I have something that I've been working on planned...that may seem self-indulgent...BUT a blog is pretty self-indulgent in the first place... It's something that will show my blog in the beginning, present, and future. No, it's not random cellphone pictures or even a picture post. Something more simple than that. Just been thinking because before I know it, my 1 year Blogoversary will be here.
But until that 'something' appears, I have a question for YOU...if you choose to answer. I'm wondering how YOU ALL feel about when someone comments on your blog....And they ask a question...or give suggestions/something along those lines. Do you usually comment back on your blog or do you email the person back (if you can)? I used to do the email thing and it was actually a lot of work for me. Not that I have a million comments but enough where it was hard to keep up. So I decided to comment directly on my page...which I think has been working fine.
So I just wonder...do you think it's rude if a person doesn't comment back? You know the BLOG AUTHOR? Because I follow a decent amount of blogs but some I don't read too often...but the ones I do...well, sometimes they don't respond. And it's kinda irritating to me. This is just my opinion. I mean how many people following you is TOO many???...and is it just simply too hard to answer every comment? Because I know I don't respond to every single person directly sometimes...but I've just been experiencing this on blogs of the past and blogs of the present where the BLOG AUTHORS don't respond...to anything I say...and I have 'stopped' following some blogs because it got...annoying.
Just curious because I understand if a blog has like over one hundred followers and say 25-30 peeps are commenting...but only some comments...hm....isn't that different? IDK....just been something I've been pondering. DISCUSS...DISSECT...what are your thoughts on this subject? Because I know we've all thought about it at some time or another......

I really like....
...having the TRAFFIC feed Widget. (Not to stalk my followers because I already know you left a comment-cuz I have the time set up.) It's just that I really like to see where my non-followers are peaking at me from. I love it when it's wayyyyyy far away like Australia or Japan. Seems like I get a lot of viewers from several different European countries...mainly Germany and Great Britain...which I think is cool. But they don't follow me...which makes me sad. :(
And it's interesting to see some of the city names...from anywhere. The MICHIGAN ones are interesting because I'm an EAST-SIDE girl (suburbs of Detroit all my life)...and just had one from CEMENT CITY, Michigan. Wha'''???!!!??? Where the heck is that? I'm going to look it up for sure now! Oh and for you non-Michiganders...did you know there's a HELL here in Michigan? Yes, very true. I want to visit there one day....it's a tiny town from what I've heard.
Oh, and can you believe that you can actually get married there!!? Wouldn't that be interesting? I told my mom IF I were to ever get married, it'd be there. (You can have a nice lil' party & everything...I'd do it on Halloween, that would rule.) She kinda freaked. But a girl once said "It'll be a cold day in HELL before I marry him!" AND this actually happened....the water freezes over in Hell, Michigan quite often in the winter months. And the girl married him. Wonder how things are going now??? Curiouser & curiouser...

My Fairy Name
This is my fairy name and a bit about me too, according to the site.
Your fairy is called Berry Icewitch.
...so that must be what I'm doing when I'm "sleeping"...;}
BTW: I also found a picture of the fairy I thought I'd most resemble, on Photobucket...just how Dracenea did. Coolness! I like how we're all different. I saw yours too Diane & you're kinda like me! I love being icy...ooo, and having blue hair too! ^_^

Cellphone Pics: Easter Oddness
I've been reading Mr. Macabre's "Easter Wrongness" blog posts and I just couldn't help to notice these odd/interesting finds in the EASTER section at Walmart. So the above picture is of Camouflage plastic eggs, you know for the army or tough kid.
Next is Creatures, for that dark or spooky kid. I wouldn't have minded getting these when I was young in my basket!

This Is For Jenny
Oh boy, the good ol' days when MTV was actually pretty decent...mid 90's or so. This clip made me think of Jennylee, one of my oldest friends. This is a "preview" of what's to come soon because I'm gonna write something about one of these ladies. Can you guess which one?...Can you guess what it'll be about?...*Hint hint: next month marks an anniversary of something & no it isn't regarding a death. I bet only one person can guess the right answer. We'll see...;}

I'm SOOO Glad...

...there isn't a "Online Now" thing (like how it is on MySpace & Facebook) for Blogger. I have "logged" so many hours here, it's out of control! I should get an award for that, ya think?!! Although is that a good or bad award to get?!? Hm...curiouser & curiouser...
Oh BIG hooray, just got a new follower-that always makes my day! O.K. off to watch Battlestar soon...and yes Jennylee, I am a geek but so are YOU...ha ha. ;}
~Update & 12:45 am (Saturday): I finally made a "things to blog about" folder on this computer...only took 3 months for me to do it! But honestly, I do pretty well with not having to dig for info most the times. Well, a lot is about me (as you prob know by now), so not much to dig there. And um...Diane, I WANT my award!....j/k....I'm just curious as always.
By the way...& I love reading cool blogs too!

Future of Blogging
My fellow blogging bud, Boyd over at Boyd's World did a post the other day that really got me thinking. And that topic was the future of blogging. It makes me curious for many reasons. For one, am I still going to be doing this blog in say 5 years? I can imagine so but what if I get bored...run out of topics...simply don't want to do it, etc...??? Sometimes I feel like I can write about 10 things a day but will that feeling last...as time goes by? I know you should definitely live in the PRESENT no matter what but again, I can't help but to be curious about what the future holds for blogging.
Another thing is most the peeps who either follow me or if I'm following them, started their blogs roughly around the same time as mine (mine began in early December). We're all kinda in the same boat right now...and most of us don't have over 25 followers. So that brings up another question, what happens when I get 100 followers...or something crazy like 1,000 (if I should be so lucky!)??? What would I be feeling then? Will I feel more pressure to write better & to keep 'em interested? Would it feel more like work than fun at that point? (Will "they" soon be knocking at my door offering me the BIG BUCKS to keep up my blog...or cut me a book deal? Heck yes, I'd do it, wouldn't you?!! Ha ha.)
Something interesting happened when I was looking for other blogs to follow...and it happened time and time again. I'd look at a person's profile, they sounded cool, I'd go to their blog, and then I'd notice they haven't posted anything in YEARS. And again, their blog looked completely awesome. I can't help but to wonder why they quit Blogger? It's a bit sad...so will peeps be sad if I ever left? Would I be sad if I quit it? Curious Eve...
But at this point, I feel very dedicated to my two blogs-yes my other one is HERE. I feel like I've needed this kinda outlet for a while. I quit keeping a journal so this helped bring "it" back to life in a way. Also, I'm VERY glad to have met such awesome people so far in my blogging adventures. Almost everyone I've come across on Blogger seem like they're fun, positive, creative, and supportive peeps. Hm, I used to think 'what was I doing before I joined MySpace?'...then 'what was I doing before Hello Kitty Junkies?'...and now I think 'what was I REALLY doing before I started my 2 blogs!!??'
This may sound odd but when I found out that there'd be a possibility that I'd be moving back home one of the 1st things I thought to myself was "What about my Blogs?!!" I said this because my parents' computer is the slowest/worst computer I've ever been on & I definitely wouldn't want to use it. Ugh, it's so sucky. Also because it's out in the open (dining room) where HERE I can have some privacy in separate room, close the door, & be alone with my thoughts. And I need that when I'm blogging-I usually listen to music but it's not distracting most times. Plus I do so many other online things from paying my bills, checking bank accouts, buying crap, browsing, using MS, FB, & HKJ, checking my few e-mail addys, etc...THAT I know I'd definitely buy my own computer if I went back to their house. Ultimately because I've discovered that I truly love writing & sharing things and there's no stopping me now! ^_^
BUT back to the future of blogging. Does it make you curious what the future holds for us bloggers? I mean what could be the next BIG thing that we'd all say "Let's go do this & forget blogging!" I think it's great that people are connecting through the written word...yes it's on a computer but people are reading, therefore followers are smart & blog authors are smarter-just kidding! But you know what I mean. Please let me know your thoughts/opinions on anything I touched on above or something I didn't say that makes you curious. Because again, I'm curious. My name is & always will be Eve "Curious" Noir. ^_^
Take care friends & have a lovely Wednesday. It's my day off so I'm sure I'll be on/off throughout the day.~
