I Have A Piece Of Jimmy's...

so my poll closed the other day. and YOU guys guessed wrong! do you think they'd send pieces of hair through the mail?!! that's kinda weird. i don't think i'd want a piece of anyone's hair...hm...but maybe i'll take that back one day. so what i did get. it was a piece (actually 2 pieces just barely connecting) of one of Jimmy's signature jackets from this past 2008 tour. so i'm going to frame it, prob w/the artwork for the CD which we had to pre-order to possibly get the jacket piece. the CD sinlge was for "Mark David Chapman/Evening Wear."

i've been lazy on here (believe it or not) and haven't posted something mike & i got courtsey of pre-ordering MSI's latest CD single. i even have the pics saved but have been waiting and now i think i know why. i have a new idea. my newest poll asks you what is this particular "thing" of Jimmy's we now own? at 1st i didn't think we got it-was at the bottom of the envelope. & it wasn't a sure thing to begin with either. see if you pre-ordered early enough you had a chance of getting this. so my new poll asks which "thing" could it be. please, take a guess and i'll do the post soon. i want you to GET CURIOUS now!~

Wordful Wednesday

just like my other post, this is a new "thing" for me. Diane at Good Mourning, Glory! does it so i said "why not?" this is what to do: i take a pic & basically just talk about what it means to me & why i love this pic so much. to that extent i believe. and her friend also participates, Angie @ 7 Clown Circus. did her friend create it? hm, i'm not sure. but hit on her site & play along too!

o.k. my pic. it don't look like much, but TRUST ME i was very excited & nervous about this moment. jimmy, from the band mindless self indulgence, gives out kisses for $1 after their live shows...well atleast he did before he got married. so i waited & waited til he moved on down to me, and then VOILA, he kissed me. yes, on the lips but no tongue, thank God. he did this to a lot of peeps, including dudes, so i'm glad we didn't swap spit cuz i'm sure his mouth is dirty. ha ha. :) so my boyfriend snapped this pic right after our smooch. can you tell he's out of breath? i am a naughty girl i know. (oh & i like how the $1 bill is waving in the air next to me...that's not mine...i gave him my $1 before the KISS...and it was the best $1 i ever spent...yes, bad eve again!)

Happy Day After Xmas...& Ladytron

hi peeps. how's the day after xmas going for you? i'm fine...not ready yet, and it's almost 11am...ugh, but mike's still asleep so i don't feel too bad. i wanted to get up & get some xmas deals but ug, i'm not feeling it...plus peeps out there are so crazy that it's not worth it in the end. soooo, later on i'll go out. the weather doesn't seem too bad so that's good. don't wanna go when it's pouring rain (which it did the other day) or a blizzard (the other day)...but one thing is for sure, the ice is out & it's right where i get into my car...so that's never fun. oooo, the winter time!!! the joy.

so here's a video by one of my favorite bands, Ladytron. i've liked them for quite a while and this is prob still my fave song by 'em. i saw them live this year & it was one of the best shows i've ever been too. i was sooooo happy. here's hoping to some good concerts in 2009! i know i'll be seeing Mindless Self Indulgence in March so that should rock as usual...think that'll be MSI show #6 or #7 for me...and within about 3 years, so that's kinda a lot. have a good one.~

Eve on YouTube...Sort Of

it's funny that someone was 'cellphone filming' this lil' clip. this was back in the summer time when mike & i met the guitarist, STEVE, of mindless self indulgence. it's not the greatest quality, hence cellphone, but you get to see how funny he is. AND at approx. 1:40 through you can hear mike & i talk to him (we aren't filmed though). he asked us if we were from europe because we had an import cd we wanted him to sign. and you can hear me say "OUI!" ha ha. we talk a little more with him, and then a few moments later, you can see my camera light up on his face. oh & he also kisses my hand when we're almost done talking w/him. some funny stuff....
...not to mention the BEST msi concert so far, we were finally on main floor first row-so awesome! that show was msi live #5 for me.
