Aloha Friday

Happy Aloha Friday to you all. It's time to relax although for some of you I'm sure it'll be a busy holiday weekend. (So try to get some "me" time for a little bit atleast!) So my question this week deals with the holidays.

My question simply is:
What is your favorite holiday(s) and why?

My answer: Mine is a tie! I love Christmas and Halloween. I celebrate each as long as possible. I love Christmas because I love giving gifts, receiving gifts, having good food with my family, spending time with my family/friends, and I love it when it snows here in Detroit (but not too much), looks so pretty. Oh & the Xmas Tree-I love having up an Xmas Tree. I think I could have it up year round! :)

As for Halloween, I'm a spooky girl so I love Halloween lots. I love seeing the little kids dressed up, they're so cute! I love looking at all the cool stuff at the stores be it candy, decorations, or costumes. And I especially love decorating at Halloween time. Just a fun & spooky holiday!

Aloha Friday

Happy Friday to you all. And happy Aloha Friday to those who participate in it. Aloha Friday is all about taking it easy and looking forward to the weekend. Posting is supposed to be kept easy this day as well (but I break that rule...a lot!). So here's the story: I ask YOU a fairly easy question that doesn't require much thinking, you answer, and you can go to An Island Life to play along too. That's it! Easy enough, right?!!

So my question this week is: What is something you absolutely can't stand-food or drink wise-and people (family, friends, boyfriends, husbands) always forget you don't like it? Or if you can't answer that (I know it's a lil' more of a complex question), simply what food/drink do you find gross & why?

My answer: I despise tomatoes. I have since as long as I can remember. My parents don't ever seem to remember this, which I find strange because my dad even grows 'em in his backyard. As for anything else that I really think is gross is: beer. Yes, I don't know why people like beer. I don't even know how to describe the taste because the smell alone makes me sick. And again, my dad drinks beer & my 3 siblings love beer also. I just don't get it. OK, now your turn! ;}

Aloha Friday

Happy Friday (the 13th by the way) to you all. It's also Aloha Friday for those who would like to participate. This simply means today is a day to take it easy and look forward to the upcoming weekend. Also, posting is kept easy on Aloha Friday. So what I do is ask a fairly simple question (that shouldn't require TOO much thought from you), you answer, and then you can visit An Island Life to play along too.

So my question for this week is: What is one (or two) of your bad habits? Maybe one you don't tell many people/they don't know about. Tell me as much as you'd like.

My answer: Well, it's kinda gross but it's a typical bad habit-I bite my nails every now & then. I guess it's more of a "nervous" bad habit if that's the right thing to call it...you know, I do it when I'm getting anxious/worried about something. So yeah, see what I mean by a bad habit that you don't like to tell?!! I mean who likes to talk about their bad habits but I'm just curious & anything goes on Aloha Friday. Another bad habit of mine is SHOES. This wasn't such a bad habit until a year or two back but now I just love finding new shoes. I don't spend lots of $$$ on 'em though (usually they're marked down) but I have enough shoes to last me 'til my last day on earth I swear! Bad Eve, BAD!!!

Aloha Friday

Happy Friday to you all. And it's also Aloha Friday, for those who'd like to participate. And that means it's time to take it easy & look forward to the weekend. Also, posting is to be kept EASY today too. And with that all I do is ask YOU a pretty simple question, which shouldn't require TOO much thinking. Well, for this week my question is gonna be a little more morbid than usual but I'm just very curious. So here's my question...

If you could find out when you'd die (the year, the day), would you do it? This doesn't necessarily mean you'd find out HOW you'd die & all those details...just the day you'd pass away, unless you want to know those things. You can tell me why you would choose to find out/not find out if you'd like.

My answer: No, I wouldn't do it. I know people always say "Live every day like it's your last" but that's kinda hard if you think about it. I just feel that you should live every day the way you like to...just as long as you're happy.

So my question this week is: What is something you really like & collect stuff of BUT people really don't understand WHY too much?

My answer: I collect many things honestly. But to narrow it down a bit, I've been collecting all kinds of Hello Kitty merchandise since I was 16 years old, so almost 15 years. Some people don't understand it (yes, family & friends) because they think little kids should like that kind of stuff BUT not so true. Before joining Blogger, I joined a website called Hello Kitty Junkies and wow, there's so many peeps from all over the world (and all ages) that love Ms.Kitty & her friends. I've never felt too weird about liking Kitty but joining that site made feel like there's absolutely nothing wrong with loving a kiddy, I mean Kitty Cat. ^_^

So my question this week is: Do you usually stick with the same brand of shoes? If so, which one(s)? Or do you not really care much about brands...maybe whatever is cheapest/comfortable?

My answer: I've been hooked on Skechers for quite a while. It's very rare that I'll buy another brand. Every now & then I'll buy a pair of Converse but overall I love Skechers because they are very comfy & have some really cool styles. This goes for sneakers, boots, and some slip-ons. For dress shoes, I don't really care what the brand is. But luckily, I don't need that many pairs of dressy shoes. So yeah, Skechers ALL the way. ;}

My question for this week is Do You Watch Any Reality TV Shows? If yes, then which ones? If no, then why don't you like them?

I never thought I'd give in to ANY reality TV but I've noticed that I can get hooked very easily. And I can see why others do too. And sometimes they are very "informative." It's true! Some I like include: Project Runway, Top Chef, Little People Big World...and I'll even tell you my guilty pleasures ones: Rock of Love, Charm School, Housewives of Orange County, and the Millionaire Matchmaker.

I know I said I was gonna take it easy and I really am (girl scouts honor!). And this is just a simple post because that's what Aloha Friday is all about...the nice & easy transition to the weekend. My question this week deals with flowers because I love 'em. And more so because Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

So I ask YOU: What color roses do you like to get? Do you prefer them red, pink, white or any other color? Or do you not prefer roses (or flowers) at all?
My answer: I love all colors. Red ones are always pretty and there's just something about all white ones.

Aloha Friday

Hi peeps. This is another newbie to me. It's called Aloha Friday. It's all about the smooth transition to the weekend. So basically I ask a fairly simple question and your answer shouldn't require too much thought. Easy, right?

So my question is: do you prefer hot or iced coffee?
(and you can also tell me why you choose one over the other...or what you like in yours, that is, if you'd like. Yeah, maybe this is a bit elaborate but again, you can do whatever you'd like!)

My answer is-it depends. I love iced coffee usually when I'm on my way/at work (which is at night). BUT sometimes in the morning I have a cup or 2 of hot coffee...especially in the wintertime. Maybe that's why I'm asking this question. Hmm...
