My 600th Post + A Giveaway

Hello there! It's my 600th post & it's time to celebrate it with a GIVEAWAY. Something's a-coming very soon

Well, I know I said I'd be busy & I am a bit (today is actually my only day to myself-no work basically-before the art show Thursday)...and as I am not feeling too well today, I decided to get ahead of myself for once. You know how you want to occupy your time when you're sick so you try to avoid feeling sick? Yeah, that's what I did.

• Wellllll, as some of you may know my One Year Blogoversary is coming up...in early December BUT I want to do the giveaway in November because it's gonna be BOTH a BIG win and BIG question that I'm going to ask. I'll give you some clues right now...just because. ^_^

***A lil' FYI. I'm going to be doing a lil' Halloween guessing game...starting soon. Basically I will show one or more Halloween items and I would like YOU to guess the price of the item(s). So by the time I end the guessing game, the person with the most correct posts (ex. if Sullivan guessed 3 posts (closest to the price without going over) correctly, Cindy 2, and Queen 1...then Sullivan wins the Halloween giveaway. Actually, Roxy emailed me before posting her suggestion on here. She told me why she chose the shrine (in a box) idea there first so I would understand what she meant by this kind of shrine in her comment.

Now have any of you seen the film White Oleander? If you haven't, you should. It's a very powerful film with such great performances by every actor...right down to the tiny parts.

White Oleander is a very artist-driven film. And those types of films really appeal to me.

So the main character, Astrid, makes shrines in suitcases. Why exactly, I won't reveal...if you haven't seen it yet. But it is very clever. And I knew exactly what Roxy meant by saying I should do a shrine in a box...and that maybe it should be about Alice (in Wonderland).

I even went back and watched the film because I honestly forgot how much I loved it. Again, it's a very powerful film (and book, which I also read)...and quite sad but it's still really really good. And I recommend it to anyone artistic or anyone simply wanting to watch a group of really good actors with a very intense story.

Damn it. I lost a follower. It's weird I have no idea who it is/was...or if they were actually reading or what...but doesn't it irk you a bit? I mean I've been stuck at the same amount for a while. :( Kinda depressing. I even followed here...I didn't know you could do it. Aren't I terrible? And I STILL lost a follower...ahhh. Ugh. Argh. Blah. Sorry, just venting.

How do people get more followers? Oh I know, giveaways. But I kinda hate that but...I just might. Soon. I'll see.
