The Halloween Tree

Hi friends. How's your weekend going? Mine is good. So this is one of the first "Halloween inspired" art pieces I've made. It's called The Halloween Tree. I like the way it came out. I also made another several hours after with the same colors...but it's very different. Very simple, unlike this one. I will post that one soon...I think I'm done with it...not 100% so that's why I wanted to wait. Hope you all are doing well. Take care~

Day after Halloween at Target (50% Off!!!)

• Hi there. So as many of you know I LOVED LOVED LOVED what Target had this year for Halloween...that primarily being the Skelanimals stuff. Well, I wasn't sure if I'd get up early that day to go but something was calling me to go so I went & it was like Xmas Day-so much fun & excitement. I also decided while there that next year I'm going to try putting together a Halloween Party (my first)...so many of the things I got are in preparation for the maybe-party.

• So as you can see from the above pic, I saved almost 55 dollars, and spent basically the same amount. Not bad I think...considering what I got. I want to go back for 75% off...cuz there were a few things over 10 dollars that I just couldn't buy because I would've spent wayyyyy too much. So I guess I'll see if they have anything cool left at that time. Enjoy my lots-of-savings pics!~

Getting back on the Blogging track again w/Random Pics

Hi friends. Yay, I'm finally getting back on track again with my blog. The giveaway was fun but was sucking my blogging mind away...mu hahaha. Just teasing. Hershey's has some cool signs up this year for Halloween.

This is Mike's sister's new doggie. His name is Logan. He's a Siberian Husky. He's so so so cute...and he has puppy breath. Awwww.... I'm glad she brought him over for a visit. I think that's my foot he's messing with. But it's o.k., he's still a lil' baby. ;)

Some of my co-workers at my friend's wedding party. It had to of been one of the coldest days of fall...and it was only early fall (few weeks back). I am pretty sure I got sick from sitting outside for hours. Like I said=FREEZING! But I enjoyed seeing my co-workers who are also my friends and I was happy to support my friend's marriage. But still, yeah, not cool that it was so cold. But unfortunatley, the weather is so unpredictable around here that it was no one's fault that it was so cold.

TARGET. Up in the air. Would love these signs for my house...but unfortunately they don't give any of their signs away. I asked about the DOMO ones last year. But umm, that doesn't mean I didn't get any, muhahaha. But hey, it's just a sign...and it would just go in the trash, right? I'm bad. Just so you know, I am terrible...I do bad things sometimes. ;)

But first, some EVE talk and the directions.

Hi friends. I told you a lil' bit about my Halloween Guessing Game Giveaway before, and NOW I'm ready for the games to begin. Wooohoo!!! Sooo...this is the basic idea...

• I will show you one (or more) items and you guess the total price (including sales tax, and in MI it's 6% per dollar). Whomever guesses the closest to the total price, WINS. Now on to what the spooky person will win and the rest of the rules.

• Well, first know that some of the things I will post will be a bit more pricey and some will be farily inexpensive (candy, lil' things). So in many cases if you guessed correctly on the post (for example this first post)...and go on to WIN the WHOLE GIVEAWAY (those rules below), then you will win every duplicate item that I have in the post.

In this very first post-you will win one of every duplicate item (besides the cards). BUT in some cases, like with some of my upcoming items for you to guess...that include clothing or items similar to that price range, more than likely those will not be part of the entire prizepack. I will let you know that THAT item(s) will not be part of the prize. I would like you to know everthing you could possibly be winning.

• So if you could understand that a bit in the paragraph above, the WINNER of my Halloween giveaway is the person who gets the most posts right. For example: if Cindy {twas the brillig} guesses 4 of the (let's say) 6 posts right, then she will be the winner of the whole giveaway. Now if there's a tie, I will do some type of tie breaker. AND I couldn't tell you how many posts I am going to do. I do have a good amount of items for you guys to guess prices on right now. So we'll see how it goes.

Time for a name change (temporarily of course!)

I should've done this 11 days ago, doh! I would change it on FaceBook but they're jerks and have to approve it and I highly doubt they will. Ugh. I mean I use my real name there too...cuz you can do that if you don't know (or use your alter ego or alias). They don't let me have any Halloween fun, darn them! But you guys will know it's me...just wanted to say it just in case. ;) Oh and now you know what to expect at Xmas time too. @_@ <---I like to think of that one as Swirly Eyes. ^_^ (That's happy face...but you know that one I'm sure!)

***A lil' FYI. I'm going to be doing a lil' Halloween guessing game...starting soon. Basically I will show one or more Halloween items and I would like YOU to guess the price of the item(s). So by the time I end the guessing game, the person with the most correct posts (ex. if Sullivan guessed 3 posts (closest to the price without going over) correctly, Cindy 2, and Queen 1...then Sullivan wins the Halloween giveaway. Get it? If you need any clarification you can ask me here or when I decide to do the first post.

Well, there it is. AND, I WANT IT ALL!!! (And this isn't even close to everything they have this year. Non-Skelanimals stuff also.) I also have to say this is definitely the coolest Halloween stuff I've seen in a while. Target flat out rules! Just another reason why I think Target is one of the best stores around.

And Skelanimals are the just the cutest. I like Oliver the Owl and Diego the Bat the most. (And no, all these pictures weren't taken at once. But I figured I might as well show 'em all now.) And although I love Hello Kitty & Domo, I'm thrilled that Skelanimals are the theme this year. When I first saw this area I was like a kid in a candy store-there's so much to see and so many cute items. It's CUTE overload, ahhhh! Love the plushies, tins, pouches, and lunchboxes lots!
