Tater Ware

I've been meaning to post about this forever. But better late than never! I work in a library and there's also a coffeeshop in there too. You know cuz it's cool for coffee & books to mix like Borders, Barnes & Noble, places like that!?? So anyways a month or so back I got something to eat & she gave me this weird fork. You could tell it wasn't a typical plastic fork. It was a beige-ish color & was pretty strong/flexible material (don't think you could break these if you tried!). I asked her what it was and she said Tater Ware. She gave me a bunch of forks, spoons, and knives (but she didn't know I was gonna blog about it-tee hee) and then I looked into it online. Well their website doesn't say too much but these are the MAIN things to know about Tater Ware: 1) they are made from potatoes 2) they are biodegradable 3) they are suitable for hot/cold foods and 4) they are GMO free (Genetically Modified Organics). Interesting, right? If you'd like to look at their lil' website please click HERE.

2 Curious people had this to say...:

Weird! Can you eat them too?

No, I would think a human can't. They're pretty tough...but maybe a piggy could. ^_^
