B-Day Part 2: Red Robin

I don't mean to stretch my birthday out like this but when I was in Red Robin (I finally decided on eating at that restaurant, it's nothing fancy, and their food is good), I felt the urge to use Mike's camera phone to document my birthday dinner. It's a cool atmosphere & I could've taken pics of lots of things in there (they have really cool old-time posters from wayyyy back, I doubt they're real but still cool), so I mainly focused on the nice little meal.

I just got "The Natural," which is just a plain burger (no cheese basically) & some fries come w/it too. Mike got a really hot burger cuz he likes REALLY hot stuff. They also have really good shakes there so we ordered one & they let us have 2 cups, woo hoo. Oh, and it was a banana shake-yum. They are known for having peeps celebrate their b-days there (they get a free dessert). But I'd be really embarassed to do it plus I think it's kinda annoying-the employees sing to you, it's very loud, and A LOT of 'em gather round your table. No thanks. So I told Mike that I didn't want to do that & he didn't mind cuz he feels the same way I do about it. (It's a free dessert, you're saying, right?! Well, I just don't like that kinda stuff peeps.)

Oh & BTW: it really is kinda dark in there. The pics don't lie. They changed that about a year ago & I don't know why. There's not a lot of light at the booths...there's just a small light above the table. Hm, to make it more romantic perhaps???...yet, it's more of a family restaurant. I don't get it but anyways...

So after eating we went home and watched a movie. Now I'm feeling pretty tired so I'm gonna save my last b-day post til tomorrow-it will be the LAST one I swear. ;} I really want to post one more because I'm so grateful for the gifts I got from some very thoughtful friends. Til tomorrow.~
