Yay for Thursday & Kathie Olivas painting

Good morning...or afternoon/evening by the time you read this my curious friends. It's Thursday, which means I work today from 2-10 PM and then my weekend begins after that, yay! Work on Tuesday was odd. I didn't really explain this in my post called Yesterday at Work, but I got hit BIG TIME by tons of peeps that day...and I was pretty much the only one there (well, at the main-front-desk after 4 pm), kinda sucked.

My supervisor is on vacation and there was no replacement for her (even another part-time person would've helped), so I was doing things pretty non-stop. And since we got these new security gates EVERYTHING seems to be setting 'em off. So I have to wave down peeps, which I hate to do and I feel bad for them because no one has been caught actually stealing a book so far. My lunch/dinner was even constantly interrupted, I sat in the breakroom with my co-workers but was the last to finish my food because I kept getting people at the desk. Ugh, so I hope my supervisor is back because I was going nuts that day. :( Hopefully today will be better, even if she's still gone! :)

So on a brighter note, today is the last day of my work week & I'm very glad. Oh & do you like the picture above? It was "new" on Kathie Olivas MySpace page. I think it's very awesome. I love her art and actually her Scavengers art toys were the 1st 'art toys' I ever got-but darn those blind-boxed ones because I got 2 of the same...of course. That's just my luck. But for her Scavengers series 2, I got two different ones so that was good. Then those toys lead to Dunnys & I haven't looked back yet...;} Well, I should go...time for breakfast.
